Conference dinner


We have made reservations at the Hermitage museum. This is a beautiful and exclusive venue in Amsterdam city centre with an excellent cuisine.

The dinner will take place on Wednesday evening (27th), scheduled from 7.15pm to 11pm.

The dinner will cost €85 (early registration) and will be a buffet dinner. We have been assured that there will be sufficient variation to account for various dietary options. If you have a specific dietary request/concern, please use the contact form or let us know at the conference desk.


Boat ride

A boat ride on the city's famous canals is planned on Monday (25th) in the evening at 9.20 pm. 

It will last for around an hour. It will start and return in Amsterdam city centre (not the conference venue).

The boat ride costs €18 (early registration). The boat ride is currently full.

We will advertise when more tickets are available.


Open Access Session


As part of the conference we will debate open access publishing in the field of evolution and human behaviour. 

The debate is scheduled for Monday evening of the conference. Please see the programme booklet.

Post-Conference: EP in the Low Countries.


This post-conference takes place on Thursday, March 28th. at the Roeterseiland of the University of Amsterdam in the city centre of Amsterdam, Building JK, room B.25 (on the ground floor). (info).

The purpose of this post-conference is to show some of the latest research in the field of evolutionary psychology being done in The Netherlands and Belgium. On this day we have many talks on a broad variety of important topics within the field of evolutionary psychology. This post-conference is also a great opportunity to expand your network and start new collaborations. Students and researchers are all welcome.
